Panterix AI Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 3, 2026. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Panterix mobile application and related services (the “App”) operated by Panterix AI (“Panterix,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the Panterix App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the App.

1. Description of the Service

Panterix is an AI-powered travel assistant that helps users identify landmarks using visual recognition, plan and store travel information, and connect with other travelers. Features include:

  • AI-powered visual recognition of landmarks, monuments, and historical sites (Global Tour Guide)
  • Trip planning and management tools
  • Privacy and audience controls for shared travel information
  • Country Counter for manually tracking countries you have visited
  • Country notes and travel note storage
  • Social travel connections with comments and suggestions
  • Notifications about overlapping trips with your connections
  • Content reporting and user blocking tools
  • Optional Face ID login

Features may change or evolve over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Panterix. By using the App, you represent that:

  • You are at least 16 years old
  • You are legally capable of entering into this agreement
  • You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

Panterix does not knowingly allow accounts created by individuals under 16.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Panterix may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Violate any law or regulation
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Post misleading or fraudulent content
  • Impersonate another person
  • Attempt to access systems or data without authorization
  • Interfere with the operation of the App
  • Upload malicious software or spam

Panterix may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. User Content

Users may create or store content in the App such as:

  • Trip plans and public trip notes
  • Comments and suggestions
  • Shared destinations
  • Profile photos
  • Connection and social graph relationships
  • Country notes
  • Invite request information

You retain ownership of your content. However, by posting or sharing content within the App, you grant Panterix a limited license to store, display, and process that content for the purpose of operating the service. You are responsible for the content you share.

6. AI and Automated Information

Panterix uses artificial intelligence and visual recognition technologies to identify landmarks, monuments, and historical sites and provide travel-related information. Results are generated automatically and may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. Panterix does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated information. Users should independently verify important information such as:

  • Hours of operation
  • Pricing
  • Availability
  • Travel requirements
  • Safety considerations

Panterix is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

7. Location and Travel Information

Some Panterix features rely on location information provided by your device while the App is in use. Location data may be used to:

  • Improve AI recognition accuracy
  • Provide location-based context

Panterix does not access your location in the background. Travel information presented in the App may change over time. Users should confirm details directly with businesses or official sources before relying on them.

8. Biometric Authentication

Panterix offers optional Face ID login to simplify access to your account. By enabling Face ID, you authorize your device to use its biometric authentication system to verify your identity. Panterix does not collect, store, or transmit biometric data. All biometric processing is handled by your device’s operating system.

9. Social Features

Panterix allows users to connect with other travelers, share travel-related information, and comment on their connections’ trips. Users control visibility through privacy and audience settings. You agree not to misuse social features for:

  • Harassment
  • Spam
  • Unwanted solicitation
  • Sharing misleading information

You may report objectionable content or users through the App, and you may block other users to prevent them from connecting with you or interacting with your content. Panterix reviews content reports and may remove content or suspend accounts for misuse of social features.

10. Intellectual Property

The Panterix App and its content, including software, design, branding, and technology, are owned by Panterix AI or its licensors. You may not:

  • Copy or distribute the App
  • Reverse engineer the software
  • Reproduce Panterix branding without permission
  • Attempt to extract source code or proprietary technology

11. Third-Party Services

Panterix relies on third-party services to provide functionality, including AI services, email delivery, and cloud infrastructure. Current third-party services used by Panterix include Supabase, OpenAI, Vibecode, and Resend. Panterix is not responsible for the performance or availability of third-party services.

12. Service Availability

We strive to keep Panterix available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may occasionally be unavailable due to:

  • Maintenance
  • Updates
  • Infrastructure issues
  • External service outages

Panterix may modify or discontinue features at any time.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Panterix AI and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • Use of the App
  • Reliance on AI-generated information
  • Travel decisions
  • User-generated content
  • Service interruptions

Use of the App is at your own risk.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. Panterix may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your use poses a risk to other users or the service
  • Required by law

You may request deletion of your account through the App’s settings page or by contacting us at info@Panterix.AI.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If significant changes are made, the effective date will be updated and we may, but are not required to, notify users through the App. Periodic review of these Terms, especially after updates, is the sole obligation and responsibility of the individual user. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
